NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Presents Endorsement on Budgetary Document

At November 17 sitting, the parliament debated the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2022.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gevorg Papoyan touched upon the economic processes preceding in 2022. It has been noted that in terms of the economic growth content the years 2021 and 2022 are different: the provision of the advanced rates of the industry and construction a transition is carried out from the spheres of trade, services and agriculture.

It is designed that the industry should grow by 8%, the construction 0 by 18%, the services – by 5.9% and the agriculture – by 3.9%. 46.2% state investment growth is envisaged: more than 350bln AMD capital investment expenditure will be in the basis. According to Gevorg Papoyan, in recent years the capital investment volumes and the established indices have uninterruptedly grown in our country. Presenting statistic data, the Committee noted that in 2020, the capital investment performance was 85%, this year factually 90 and more percent is designed, in 2012 it was 75%, and in 2013 – 85%. “The capital investments are priority for us,” Gevorg Papoyan documented.

It has been noted that 15.6% private investment growth is designed, in this issue a number of circumstances have their impact on it.

In January-July 2021, the average nominal salary has also essentially increased by about 6%, making almost 200.000 AMD. According to forecasts, the inflation index of the coming year will be about 4% of the target, which will give an opportunity to considerably increase the incomes of the people’s factually possessing revenues.

The Committee Chair spoke about the state budget macro-economic framework, the investment policy, the implementation of the long-term programmes and the importance of the budget result indices.

Gevorg Papoyan informed that the Committee presented the endorsement on the budgetary document, calling on his colleagues to vote for the draft law.
